There are so many electric SUVs on the market these days that it takes a lot to stand out, and the Polestar 3 manages to do so thanks to its bold design and beautiful interior. It is also not a case in which everyday suitability has been sacrificed for the style, because it is easy to drive and has an impressive range of up to 706 kilometers.
The boot might not be the largest in its class, and touchscreen operation can be a little awkward, but these are just minor details in an otherwise excellent electric SUV.

1. Cinema-quality sound
The Polestar 3 is equipped with a Bowers & Wilkins sound system with 25 speakers and Dolby Atmos 3D surround sound. The sound is distributed throughout the interior, so you feel like you're immersed in the music – almost like in the cinema.
But it's not just the performance that impresses. There's also a clever system that uses the speakers in the headrests to make phone calls so you can hear the people you're talking to better, and you can even set it to get a replica of the acoustics in the Gothenburg Concert Hall.
2. Leise unterwegs

Polestar hat dieses Problem umgangen, indem es sich bei der Entwicklung seiner Software von den Herstellern von Smartphones helfen ließ. Der Polestar 3 verfügt über integrierte Google-Dienste, so dass die Bedienung des Touchscreens fast genauso einfach ist wie die deines Handys.
Things like Google Maps and Spotify are already built-in, so pairing with the phone is almost redundant. We'd like to have a few more physical buttons for things like climate control, but that's easy to forgive when the screen is so easy to use.
4. Practical details
The Polestar 3 has a spacious interior with plenty of legroom in the rear and plenty of storage options. While the trunk isn't the largest in its class, there are a few clever features that make it even more practical. For example, the rear air suspension can be lowered via a button in the trunk to make it easier to load heavy objects or to make it easier for your dog to climb in.
The floor folds up into a divider so nothing rolls around, and it's equipped with hooks for shopping bags so your purchases don't fly through the air when you want to take full advantage of the 510 horsepower. There is also a large storage space under the floor.
5. Always stay cool
If you're a dog lover, you probably want to do everything you can to make your dog feel comfortable. The Polestar 3 has a dog mode that runs the air conditioning when you leave your dog in the car to go to the supermarket for a quick trip. It can automatically detect people or animals and switches on the air conditioning system by itself if necessary.
The sunroof has a special coating that can filter out UV rays so that the interior does not look like a greenhouse. This also means that you don't need a sun blind, so there is more headroom in the rear.
